As a small business owner, former construction worker, and professional engineer, I am hard to please. But believe the hype. Boyce’s Roofing is the single best contractor I have used in Southern California. Their bid was modestly higher than two others, but I decided to use them based on their reviews. My roof was atypical, with three different elevations, patios, and a walk-out so I knew I needed an experienced roofer. They also did ALL of my gutters. They did my job in 10 days, with a 6-8 man crew daily. They were on time ever single day, even early (before 0700) most days. Their workers worked from 7-6 daily, taking a half hour lunch. They cleaned up at night. They were respectful and hard working. The job was done to completion without any hiccups. They were on schedule with when they said they would get to me. The combination and quality and service is unparalleled. Unlike most roofing contractors, they pay their employees hourly and treat them well. They take their time to do a good, thorough job. This is unique I would have paid even more than what they quoted given their level of service and attention to detail.

I'm a meticulous DIY'er, homeowner of 33 years; the Spanish tile "Lift and Lay", plus bad wood replacement was done by the team of Nazario, Jesus and assistant Sam. The attention to detail was exceptional and "off the chart". They did the job as if they were working on their own home. They are "True Craftsmen, in the classic sense of the term. Owner Jason was simply a pleasure to work with, he was straight forward, honest, and took pride in his family's product. We live on a golf course and get hit with many errant golf balls. Needless to say our clay tiles get destroyed. After years and years of repairs and roof leaks I’ve had enough. So we decided to research alternatives and came across a Stone Coated Steel Roof. There are very few companies in San Diego that offer this particular type of roof and speaking with other roofing companies many of them had never even heard of the product. Then I found Boyce’s Roofing and Repair. The entire project from start to finish was fantastic. Jason and his team are amazing. They were on time and very thorough. We ran into a snag with our HOA due to the architectural controls which delayed the project about a month and throughout the entire process Jason was patient, kind and understanding. The roof was finally completed and it looks absolutely wonderful. I couldn’t be happier. Bring on the rain. :) Highly recommend this company.

I received four quotes for a clay tile roof replacement from four different roofing companies and, although Boyce's Roofing was not the least expensive, they were extremely responsive and professional in visiting my home and providing a reasonable quote. The work itself was exceptional. My roof was a 50-year-old clay tile roof and required meticulous care in installing since the tiles are so fragile and I wanted the crew to stagger the mounting of the tiles, with cement in between each pair, to give them height and the overall roof an aesthetically pleasing look. The roofers installed flashing and bird stops that were not there before and I am so very happy with the end result. It is beautiful. The crew were respectful and cleaned up thoroughly every day after they visited my home. I trusted Jason to make sure the job got done right and I'm glad I went with my intuition to select Boyce's Roofing to replace the roof on my treasured new home. Thank you!

The estimate for replacement of rotted support lumbar including removal and re-installation of the tile roofing was performed at my home quickly upon my request. The price was highly reasonable with a complete description of the proposed fix provided in writing. Upon my approval, the team arrived within a couple of days and quickly, efficiently and professionally tackled the repairs. The fix appears seamless and has been primed and readied for my touch up painting.
